Motives for Saving....

1.Precaution - saving for a 'rainy day'
2.Foresight - being aware that your circumstances might change
3.Calculation - basically, wanting your money to earn interest.
4.Improvement - wanting your lifestyle to get better over time.
5.Independence - attaining the liberty of self-reliance.
6.Enterprise - having the freedom to invest money
7.Pride - having sometjhing to leave to your childern.
8.Avarice - saving for saving's sake.

30% of us are driven by the fear that the futures will not be rosy enough.
